Live together with corona - short film

A short film about the lives of the people of Sri Lanka during the 2020 Covid-19 pandemic. The film was shot in a house with a few friends while the producer was in Sri Lanka.
A film shot under a very simple title with two characters using a Blackmagic 4K camera and the Proress codec in low light conditions.

Directed by Indika Wickramarachchi. Starring Palitha Samarawickrama and Manjula Kumari. Cinematography, editing and production by Priyantha Wijekoon. It also won awards at several international film festivals.

The kite- short film

A short film shot in Sri Lanka. Made as an independent film, it cost about £200. The entire crew contributed their time free of charge. Money only  use for essentials.
This was also shot with a Blackmagic 4K camera.
The story is that a rich woman and a poor woman live in two houses close together. The poor woman often comes and asks the rich woman for some food.
In the evening, a song is heard from the poor woman’s house. What the rich woman sees is the poor woman rejoicing with her husband. She is happy to feed her husband a cake. She has been repeatedly asking the rich woman for the ingredients needed to make a cake. The rich woman is disappointed.

Foot print of legend- documentary

This is the story of Sandanam. In such a developed society, he still distributes kerosene to the people of Colombo using a bullock cart. The Petroleum Corporation has given him this opportunity. The reason for this is that he is the last person of that generation.
This is the last kerosene cart in Sri Lanka. Also, Sandanam is the last person to distribute kerosene using a bullock cart.
Sandanam is a very hardworking person. It was a very difficult task to capture him for this documentary. Therefore, it took a lot of effort to film him. But at the end of the day, he was very happy.
This was filmed with a Black Magic 4 Pro Cinema Camera.
