Protea cynaroides is the national flower of South Africa. Today proteas flowers bloomed inside the wankade stadium in India. Normally protea flowers bloom with pink colours. But today, inside the wankade stadium, they have different colour. That was a beautiful green eleven flowers blooming and attacking the mighty England cricket team without mercy.
There is no more doubt about their ability to play aggressive cricket. There is a lot of evidence that shows their cricket history. Today, they proved it for the second time in India’s 2023 Cricket World Cup.
They got over four hundred runs against Sri Lanka in the first match at New Delhi. And today, they made 399 against England without nerves, even though they unexpectedly lost the game against the Netherlands.
They got 428 against Sri Lanka in their first match and 311 against Australia in the second match. Today, how could believe they can do it again? But it happened. South African batters easily attacked English bowlers around the ground, including 12 sixers and 38 fours. Heinrich Klaasen scored 109 runs, including 12 fours and four sixers within 64 balls. Indeed, that inning was brilliant. Panicked English bowlers did not know how to control him anyway. Reeza Hendricks, 85, Marco Jansen, 75, Rassie van der Dussen, 60 and Aiden Markram, 42, helped to build that mighty innings for South Africans.

Another five matches to come. Without a doubt, they must win all five games to reach the semi-final. The next match between Sri Lanka will be very crucial to both teams. Sri Lanka will try to beat England somehow. Because if they lose, they have a slight chance to hope for the semi-final. The same thing can apply to England. This match between Sri Lanka and England may be a turning point for both teams. The game will take place at Bengaluru Stadium on the 26th of October.
