Sri Lanka cricket selectors is bathing in excrement

The Sri Lanka Cricket Selection Committee has been scrutinised lately, raising questions about their decision-making process. Many cricket fans and experts have been left wondering about the whereabouts of the committee.

The situation has been made worse by the committee’s attempts to cover up their actions by telling multiple lies to justify their decisions. Unfortunately, their strategy has backfired, as it has only tarnished their reputation further. The committee’s credibility has been questioned, and many are now wondering whether they are fit for purpose.

The committee needs to take responsibility for their actions and be held accountable for any mistakes they have made.

Hasaranga’s ban

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has banned Sri Lanka’s T20 captain, Wanidu Hasaranga. This decision was taken due to his misbehaviour with an umpire during the final match of the ODI series against Bangladesh. The ban comes into effect immediately for the two tests.

The emergency decision of the cricket selection committee

The Sri Lankan Cricket Selection Committee is experiencing disappointment and embarrassment following the recent suspension of Vanidu Hasaranga, who was appointed as the captain of the nominated team for the upcoming T20 World Cup.

The committee is concerned that Hasaranga’s suspension may lead to him missing out on playing in the tournament’s first four matches, which could significantly impact the team’s performance.

The committee has included Hasaranga in the Test team to avoid this situation. This move will allow Hasaranga to participate in the T20 World Cup and contribute to the team’s success.

The selection committee is ingenious

They must have thought that the decision taken by the Sri Lanka Cricket Selection Committee at that time was a good decision. It is very simple. However, they did not think this decision would have to be normalised later.

Then they have to say that this decision was not a sudden one. Therefore, they tell the media that Vanidu Hasaranga had previously requested to include him in the Test squad. But this fact is not very credible.

SRH team is in big trouble

Although Hasaranga escaped the ICC ban, he is now trapped. He is going to play in the IPL starting from March 22. He plays for the Sunrisers Hyderabad team. Hasaranga is their best spinner. He is a regular player on that team.

The Test series between Sri Lanka and Bangladesh consists of two matches. The series will be held from March 22 to April 3.Hasaranga will definitely have to stay in Bangladesh with the Sri Lanka Test team.

Therefore, he has no chance to join the SRH team. Because of that, Hasaranga will not get the opportunity to play the first three matches of the RSH .

These three matches will be held on the 23rd, 27th and 31st. Apart from that, their fourth match will be held on April 5. It is also a question of whether Hasaranga can play in this match.

But he can play that match if he doesn’t play the Test series. Anyway, he will definitely miss the first three matches of the IPL.

This is a severe loss for the SRH team. The decision of the SRH team on this situation still needs to be determined. Hasaranga is very valuable to them. Therefore, they will not abandon Hasaranga.

Will Hasaranga play in the Test match?

The Sri Lanka selection committee has no hope of playing Hasaranga in the Test match. It is obvious.

They only named Hasaranga in the squad to escape the ban. Sri Lanka has a separate Test squad. It does not include Hasaranga.

This only results in Hasaranga staying in Bangladesh for no reason. It was definitely a waste of 12 days. But nothing can be done.

Only one thing can be done. That is Hasaranga suffering from an illness. If so, he can come to Sri Lanka.

But anyone can think that this situation is a hoax. Therefore, to escape from that situation, the cricket selection committee has to tell more lies.

IPL doesn’t matter to Sri Lanka

Sri Lanka has nothing to lose from the IPL tournament. Only a few Sri Lankan players play in it, and several have been injured.

Only Nuvan Thushara and Maheesh Theekshana are at the level where they can play.Although the IPL tournament is unimportant, the T20 World Cup is the most important for Sri Lanka.

Upul Tharanga is responsible for making the best team play for it. Therefore, it is part of his duty to save his talented players under any circumstances.

Consequently, it is understandable to act fraudulently on behalf of Hasaranga. But this is by no means a symbol of importance.

Undisciplined behaviour of Sri Lankan players

If the undisciplined behaviour of the Sri Lankan players is not controlled, the future may be uncertain. Sri Lankan cricket’s journey from Arjuna Ranatunga’s leadership to Kumar Sangakkara is very respectable.

At that time, such shameless behaviour was seen very rarely. There was no place for players who behaved shamelessly at the lower level in today’s situation among the experts who behaved intelligently.

Are there any such players in today’s Sri Lankan team? Upul Tharanga must first teach the players to maintain this discipline. Without that, the game’s vitality is not degraded by not punishing the mistakes made by the players.

Kusal Mendis

Kusal Mendis is the captain of the Sri Lankan ODI team. He has also been penalised by the ICC.

The reason for that is based on an incident with the umpire. The ICC has pointed out that there was an incident when shaking hands with the umpire as the reason for the penalty. There are two possible incidents when shaking hands with an umpire. It can be verbal or physical.

Here, Kusal can easily squeeze the umpire’s hand during the handshake without anyone noticing. If he did that, it would be a serious mistake. If the skipper of the team lacks discipline, the team will not succeed.

Hating Sri Lanka Cricket

Sri Lanka Cricket has players who are recognised worldwide. Arjuna Ranatunga, Kumar Sangakkara, Mahela Jayawardena, Roshan Mahanama, and Ranjan Madugalle are amongst the respected names heard worldwide.

But are there such people amongst today’s Sri Lankan players? There is no one. There are only players who break discipline in the middle of the ground.

At this time, they have lost the respect they should give to the umpires. In the future, the Sri Lankan team may become the most hated team in the world.

It seems that the Sri Lankan players are taking the Bangladesh team as an example. Bangladeshi players also behave very unpleasantly in the ground.

Who is responsible for this situation?

Obviously, the head coach is responsible for this. The coach and manager are responsible for maintaining team discipline. If they do not fulfil that responsibility, the team will quickly collapse.
