India won the 2023 Asia Cup
India won the Asia Cup 2023 today at the R Premadasa Stadium by pulling down Sri Lanka. They won this trophy for the 8th time. The Indian team managed to give a very valuable gift to Narendra Modi on his 73rd birthday in an unexpected way.
From Sri Lanka’s point of view, this defeat is very embarrassing. 35000 people flocked to the R Premadasa Stadium today not to taste such an extreme defeat? No. The Sri Lankan batsmen managed to destroy the hopes of the cricket fans who bought very expensive tickets from the very first ball of the Sri Lankan innings.
In the end, when the entire match was limited to 20 overs, most of the spectators who came to watch the match did not enter the stadium.
Isn’t this a matter of shame?
At least it is doubtful that the players of the team know what has happened to them. Captain Dasun Shanaka must have never thought that they would have to suffer such a shameful defeat.

Kusal Mendis was the top scorer of the Sri Lankan team scoring 17 runs very hard. The Indian fast bowlers managed to get rid of all the other batsmen very easily. The Indian pace department managed to stun the Sri Lankan batsmen right from the first ball bowled by Bumrah. The Sri Lankan batsmen were not even able to understand the swinging balls of Siraj and Paandyaa who bowled after Bumrah.
The Indian batsmen needed only 6 overs to get the total score scored by the Sri Lankan team. How wonderful is it that the Indian team can easily win the 2023 Asia Cup?
